  1. I wonder if anyone can shed any light I would like to know if during my phase one basic training we will be firing & training with Susat sights attached to the weapons systems or old school Iron sights as I know the majority of kit used during training is literally basic. Any feedback appreciated.
  2. I think you'll find it's spelt skool, not school.

These days you have a G3 with red dot sights as these will be phased in by the time you reach your unit.
  3. It depends, you will definitely use an iron sight during phase 1, Infantry use SUSATs when they reach the Phase 2 part of the CIC, not sure about other regiments or corps.
  4. Fablon bif chits will be the weapon of choice for this gentleman as he's hoping to join the RLC.
  5. Don't tell Stacker1.

Judging by the fact that we've had Chefs turn up at our place on their second post who've never used a SUSAT before am I right in thinking that RLC recruits won't use a SUSAT whilst in Phase 2?
