This book, Survivors of Stalingrad, is a collection of first-hand accounts from German soldiers who fought, and were trapped, at Stalingrad in 1942-43. The editor, Reinhold Busch, has collated a number of accounts from various sources and put them into a simple anthology which captures quite superbly the horrors of the battle.
