Stupid question: Paderborn - German or UK power sockets

#1
My lad is due to join his first Batallion in Paderborn (Germany) in December. As the base is long-standing does the accomodation have standard UK 230v power sockets or the standard Euro sockets?

I would imagine the euro sockets. Although I was last there in 1993.

I'd guess euro sockets also, but this can be got round by getting an adaptor and putting it on a UK extension lead - so only need to purchase one adaptor.
It is the two-pin euro socket (called Schuko).

He could get a masterplug extension from Argos and change the UK plug for a German one. That way he won't need to buy load of German plugs.

By the way, it is cheaper to buy loads of these:

than loads of these:
