Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Any ideas?

It doesn't matter how much I tighten the fittings, it keeps slipping sideways after a couple of days. It's starting to do my head in.

Is there some sort of insert, that narrows the hole through the fitting holes?
  2. you're a fat train driver?

seriously Recce, try some plastic washers mate, they sometimes do the trick.
  3. As is frequently the answer......... you need to fill them holes :D
  4. Slighty rotund if you don't mind. :p

Cheers, will give it a whirl. Looks like a trip to Praktika or Hornbach tomorrow. :D

Have been thinking about that as well. ;) Why the fcuk they make the holes so wide is beyond me. :?
  5. Recce, if you wrap a thick elastic band around the screws and push it right to the top of the thread, it'll be flattened out by the pressure of the wing-nut underneath and keep everything in place.

  6. well don't go to OBI mate...they're a rip off lol
