Stopping a toilet seat from slipping.

Any ideas?

It doesn't matter how much I tighten the fittings, it keeps slipping sideways after a couple of days. It's starting to do my head in.

Is there some sort of insert, that narrows the hole through the fitting holes?

Slighty rotund if you don't mind. :p

Cheers, will give it a whirl. Looks like a trip to Praktika or Hornbach tomorrow. :D

As is frequently the answer......... you need to fill them holes :D

Recce, if you wrap a thick elastic band around the screws and push it right to the top of the thread, it'll be flattened out by the pressure of the wing-nut underneath and keep everything in place.
