Stephen Ireland PFA young player of the year?????

  1. Stephen Ireland for me this year has come on leaps and bounds, going from a tidy central midfield player to possibly the most consistent playmaker in the premiership. His passing and goalscoring ability this season has been second to non and his partnership and link up play with Robinho has been the highlight of city's average season.

    He has been short listed for the PFA young player of the year award and he has certainly got my vote. He currently lies behind Frank Lampard and Cesc Fabregas for most assists by midfield players in the premiership and that is no mean feat. A brilliant season for the young Irishman.
