I have pointed this out before on here, but just once more, just for you...

When something is standing still, it's stationary. That piece of paper you write a letter on is stationery. Let the “E” in “stationery” remind you of “envelope.” ...

So I goes into Smiths, and says to this pretty little blonde behind the counter,

"Excuse me Miss, do you keep stationery?"

"No" she replies, "I tend to jiggle around quite a bit."

Hi,

Does any one have a list of stationary requirements for clerks in the field. Thanks.
Just remember that whatever you take into the field, checked against whatever recommended list, you will NOT have the first form that is asked for or that you need........

Sensible head on for a moment...

1. Check unit sops
2. Ask someone higher up the food chain
3. Don't expect a sensible reply when asking bone questions on ARRSE

BTW no need to thank me.

I can't speak for all but we used to deploy with a tried-and-tested box consisting of the following:

Spare SOXMIS cards
Typex
Correctine
Duplicating ink
Spare ribbons
Lorry chits

We seemed to get by well enough.
