The Radio 4 comedy "Our Brave Boys" is being rerun on Radio 7, but when I first heard it I didn't have access to those in the know to answer a query or two. Like, is it based on (or inspired by) one civil servant, and did the writers have inside knowledge ?. When I first heard it I might almost have asked whether the RN CPO really ran the place, but I think enough evidence now exists to prove that point. Anyone here recognise an anecdote they've relatedthat's turned up in a plot-line?. OK - MoD Main Building is hardly 'squaddies' on the airwaves, but I thought the thread might evolve into general discussion on this, Navy Lark, Army Game (which I think started as radio?).
