Um, Frank. SPS is Staff & Personnel Support, a branch of the AGC

Curse you Sixty, and your penchant for posting Great Truths and Facts: this is ARRSE goddammit!

You mean that a "Green Beret" from the"SPS" is not a "daredevil killer" and could not have been the second man on the Embassy balcony. :?

(Bitterandtwisted...he may have left with a house, but he didn't keep it)
The guy in question with the new house was the one with investigation that the it cost more to investigate therefore the amount was written off under insurance purposes - so now he didnt have to give the house back as he was out of the army not employed at any time. however this is the army rumor service - pure rumour apparently

Apologies, I that that you were referring to someone else.

In the McKay case though, what should be questioned? The competence of the investigation, the competence of the prosecutor or the decision to take the case to Courts Martial, if as reported, there was indeed no realistic prospect of a conviction?

Without doubt, there is no question about the competence of the defence.
Mr MacKenzie seems to score points everytime he goes into bat. No wonder he's the soldiers' favourite.

better than Gilbert Blades?

just wondering, never know when you might need one lol

No-one wants to delve into Iraq and money in that community. Quite why anyone even started is beyond any level of understanding.

For all those who are born again christians, bear in mind right and wrong are just perspectives from different viewpoints at this point.

Well done to him for earning $4122 A DAY profit (in sequentially numbered $100 bills) whilst operationally deployed through running an unofficial "tuck shop".

That is a lot of alcohol, toiletries and viagra.

$371 000 profit over 4 months? That is $1.1m profit every year.

I would love to see the inside of his "tuck shop" - it must look like Selfridges.

Somebody has been a very, very lucky boy. The city headhunters must have been circling the courts martial like vultures - with a business model like that the thieving clerk sh!t could walk into a directorship.

Or if he gets caught again straight into the pokey.

I dont smoke.

The whole article, and event is easily understood given a few pieces of information, which appears now not to be in the public domain.

With those parts of the puzzle, in this case, right and wrong are not as clear cut from the reading end of the newspaper.

Irrelevant clap-trap. If the man has been found not guilty, then he has committed no wrong. And your pretence that you may 'know' something, matters not. In the eyes of the law he is an innocent man. Live with it.
