  2. Money, Mouth springs to mind. Waffling shite means f**k all. Make piracy too dangerous and people will stop. If 50% of attempted pirate attacks end in sudden death then pretty soon they'll ever a)learn or b)run out of pirates.

    Somehow, I don't think the current manual will involve practical use of such concepts as 'determined policy' and 'direct action' - although they'll be talked about a lot.

  4. Has any ship with armed guards yet been successfully attacked by pirates in the Gulf? I know that they hadn't last time I checked.

    There will come a time when our offers of 'expertise', unsupported by assets, are less appreciated.

    "A prison built to internationsl standards" will presumably be luxury compared to the homes where some of these guys were brought up. But anything less and I suppose we would be sued for millions!
