Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Came across this whilst sizing up some shirts for their ebay destiny, and came across this shirt is a 170/96 size, some shirt it didn't have an NSN number but instead had TRIAL CS06, was in desert DPM.

Had some pen pockets on the right sleeve, room for 3
    Rank slide in Velcro
One square Velcro patch on each arm
One pocket on each arm, same type we have on UBACS

Any one ever came across em? Bearing in mind this came out of disposals

I'd wager a guess at the 2006 trial version but I could be wrong.

  7. Nearly same as PCS shirt!

Probably failed the trial for getting height and chest size the wrong way round.

  9. The cuff pen pocket looks like a good idea. Or maybe not?

This shirt failed the trials, as the 3 pen holders were not enough for the issued 6 pack of crayons!

  12. Elbow pockets yes but certainly not padded just somewhere you can stick velcro badges

  13. The holders where not wide enough.

  14. I remember seeing a trails team back in 2006 wearing shirts very similar to the one in the photograph, I have no idea what the team were trailing though.
