Some good news for the Shedi

I don't think it is out of court to comment that liberal, arty-farty types and their opinions attract their fair share of opprobrium on ARRSE, especially here in the NAAFI Bar. Not all of them are at odds with the brethren, however. Taff49 will be pleased to note that Harold Pinter is on the same wavelength:

Asked whether items which feature in The Caretaker, including a shed and a Buddha, had any special significance, Pinter sent a withering reply, telling them: “The Buddha is a Buddha. The shed is a shed.”
Harold Pinter sent sarcastic letter to pupils who sought hidden meaning in his plays - Telegraph
Which just goes to show what a London-centric, chattering-class member, intellectual twunt Pinter was. How can a shed just be "a shed"? Twat.
