Somali pirates drown with ransom cash

#4
Well there is the possibility that said ransom payers simple placed a device in with the money and sunk the floating bank before they got ashore.

Which may deter the other fcukers from trying it on......

And the device wouldn't need to be expensive, either. A pork chop amongst the notes may be enough to cause such panic as to induce a capsize.

Wonder if they drowned in the vasty deep or a hail of lead. After all, $2m does not go that far these days when split 8 ways.

Just a thought...........

Yeah, very amusing,
One company got away with it, saved a bit of cash, blew the pirates to f*ck.

What about the crew of the next vessel that's taken?

This could be the end of the phoney war.

Hopefully they won't take any more - without a fight at the very least. I think the party is over for Long John Kodogo. Otherwise if it's that easy to make money I think we should all chip in for a RIB and few gats.

Totally agree with you Devillish - my first thoughts on hearing the story. As for the cash, very probably out of circulation banknotes destined for the furnace. What would I have given to be the one who pressed the button!
