A soldier has been found dead with gunshot wounds in his dormitory at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire.
The 24-year-old trainee Coldstream Guard was found at 1645 BST on Monday at Vimy Barracks.

A lot of it's down to lack of resources. It's the old. old story. Budgets cut, not enough supervisory staff. COs not wanting to commit their brightest and best to training tasks when their battalions are being banged off on back-to-back tours. As usual, it comes back to commitment and funding. Neither is available without something else having to give.
