Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. All,

Can anyone provide a link to a story I (think) read a while back to do with a soldier whos was stopped at an American airport due to his fingerprints being on one of their databases?

I have tried searching (Google & Arrse), but to no avail.

    Cheers,

  2. So you've searched and found nothing, perhaps you dreamt about reading the story.

  3. Could be linked to this sorry tale: linky

  4. I missed that story, but I often travel on East Midlands. Perhaps because it's a public service which has been privatised, the train staff seem to have some sort of identity crisis going on - thinking of themselves as powerful authority figures rather than customer servants.

  5. So you've searched and found nothing? can't you take a hint. This did not happen in Detroit on 21st May at 1821 hours. Understand?

PS We know where you live, your average petrol consumption and last three e-mail contacts.

  6. Is this a windup :?

  7. Have you never been told about asking 50/50 questions? :)

  8. I remember the story, I recall it being something to do with evidence handling. Cannot remember the rest though.

  9. Have you tried, Monty Python news writing competion?
