Quick question...they are referred to as "Mr", are they employed as civilians or are they Police Constable type people? just out of interest.

The Met Police Explosive Officers are all Civilians, recruited from the RLC CEG of Ammunition Technican. I believe their team Number 2 is a uniformed Police Officer and yes, jolly well done.

Hope to toast the medal at the next AAT Event!

rtd Officers are known by their military rank, I suppose a retd SNCO or WO would be "mister", the number twos are normally ex traffic officers chosen for their driving ability.
