I know eveyone here will be completely unbias... so, please offer your personal opinions.

By the way - it would help a ton if you would state whether you were a para or not. Thanks a mil.

Do we need an airborne role? Just re-role as line infantry.

I am now consulting the people who protected Salman Rushdie and arranging to 'drop-out' of the scene.

  6. 173rd are not too bad either

  7. Who really cares.

  8. One is a Division. the other is two Battalions with another helping Them. So, ten thousand or so vs. 1800?

    About evens, I'd say.

    :D

    ( I'm chairborne, not airborne. )

  9. Next; the Americans man the equipment, the Brits equip the man.

  10. You forgot the "I may be a hat but I earn £80K an hour to compensate that I am a rotund hat and could never make it" qoute!

  11. He also forgot, "God is a Para...He failed the Commando Course" and "RAF Regiment are trained to the same standard as Paras and Marines - the other members of the Big Three!"

Big 3 is the Sally army Not included and if not why not, they have a great band of brothers

  13. We have troops on the ground in more countries that UK or US. However, we are clearly not designed for airborne operations (I would need a BIIG parachute) so we cannot be considered in this fight.

Ergo the last Mech Inf/Armd Inf unit to arrive into an operational environment using battle taxis must be the best ?
