Snowboarding.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I am just back from a week of being introduced to snowboarding in Andorra.

Simply put it was superb. Soldeu/El Tarter is an excellent resort to learn. It also offers more demanding slopes for the more experienced boarder/skier.

Obviously did Ex Snow Queen when I was still in, but TBH it was never done in any serious way. I wish I had taken a chance to learn back then. But TBH it was a week of getting rat bagged for all so the instructors were never really interested either.

  2. Soldeu is a great place - plenty of differing slopes for all abilities.
Then there is "Fat Alberts" and the "Pussycat"

What do you call a group of snowboarders?

A bench - as they're usually found to be sat on their arrses!

  3. I'm more of a skier myself, although have tried boarding. I wasn't able to go away this year but definitely will try to go next year and would consider Andorra.
