Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hope this is of some interest.

The round in the middle is a .10 Eichelberger Wildcat round. The bullet weighs 7.2 grains and has a velocity of 2160 fps with a load of 1.8 grains of powder.

.22 RF on left and 5.56mm on right for comparison.

  2. But what's it for? Mice?

  3. Best make that small mice

  4. Reminds me of a long since obsolete round, the 5mm Velo Dog. Apparently used by French cyclists to shoot annoying muts. :D Could this wildcat be a modern replacement? :D

There were miniature rounds made for miniature shotguns. William Powell in Brum made some. That is some small round, I had an inert .22 Boz and had a rem .17 cf which are small enough.
