    Gent's,
    While purusing the Sky news website at work,I stumbled across this;

    Tribute to the fallen-Afghanistan

    About time the media recognised the sacrifices our lads have made.Just looking at the photo's of the Fallen,the smiles on their faces,the photo's saying "This is me,I'm proud to be a Soldier" & knowing these lads have paid the ultimate price for our freedom made looking at their smiling faces hard.

    RIP Lads,
    We will not forget you all.

    RIP, gents.

  3. Watching the news tonight I saw that the odds for an infanteer to die during a 6 month tour are:

    Afghanistan 38:1
    Iraq 50:1
    (from Sky news).

    The coward in me thanks God that I did my time without any serious risks to my life and I get to flash my 5 gongs once a year.

    The ex-soldier curses me for getting out and wishes the lads the very best of luck and I pray that the odds increase massively.
