  1. Of exactly what avail is removing the plastic from an SA80 and adding a grip?

Is this standard practice in the UK Army?

  2. waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
  3. "Anti-Wah cloak on" It offers a more stability in most fire positions.
  4. i believe that picture is the SA80 Carbine, which is used in small numbers, normally by Armoured vehicle crew members
  5. wahhhhhhh - wrong!
  6. No. It's a l85A2 with a quadrail handguard and a gangster grip with a bipod. It's been around since 2008 now.

    If this a wah... :x
  7. Where have you been for like a year and a half?
  8. other than the fact that's a L22 not an L85 , which BTW still provides a 17.4 " barrel length
  9. Quetta?
  10. It's not the carbine. The quadrail is fitted to bog standard L85A2's.
  11. mph1977,
That is SOoooooo NOT an L22, it is the L85A2 with RIS handgrip.

Google the L22 and look at the length of the barrel from the pistol grip...talking bollox me feels!

  12. Agreed its not the carbine but an IW/ L85A2. BTW the L85A2 barrel length is 495mm against 285mm of the L22A2, I'm sad enough to have the publications on my laptop. Wouldn't be much of a carbine with the same size barrel would it? Dog handlers are carrying these in Afghan.
  13. I call wah or journo??? :?
  14. If journo - shit journo!!

    Suspicously a new member!!!
