Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Im going on the TA skill at arms instructor course at brecon next week and I was wondering if anyboday can give me a 'heads up' on it?

The kit list is basically everything I have been issued but I doubt I will need all this stuff so does anyone have a real kit list of what I will need?

    Any other tips?

  2. PM me and I'll let you know what I can help you with.

  3. Hi guys,
Just wondering how long is the course, is it the same as the regs course.
  4. I dont know how long the reg's course is but the TA course is only 2 weeks long.

I doubt it very much, as the Regular course is 6 weeks of long days and longer nights crawling around the wetlands of Sennelager.
  6. What badge?

I already have my RMQ. Need this cse for my bounty!

  7. G30,
Thanks for the advise, i have my CMCQ in April and RMQ in September was not sure about the SAA course.
Has anyone done the cmcq recently and what does it involve ( ie lots of running around or range and classroom work)
Most importantly is there time for a beer or two.
  8. The CMCQ is very steady and thier is deffo time for a beer.
  9. Just a quick one, what is the accomodation like?
Im thinking of taking a portable TV will this be ok?

At warminster the rooms are top quality are the ones at brecon the same?

  10. You get the standard 4 man rooms they are fairly modern, accomodation not bad at all.
