Skiing in London?

According to the latest evidence the Gulf Steam has slowed down by 30% since 1992.

If this trend continues then the UK and northern Europe will have a climate much like Newfoundland with typical daytime temperatures in winter between -10 to -15C and a average of 450cm of snowfall and the ground is snow covered for eight months in the far north and for six months in the south.

So given all the above what positives can you see from having the UK covered in snow for much of the year?

An open-ended excuse to be late for work given that my office is in London and the trains break down if a soggy leaf hits the tracks.
