Sir Rex Hunt has died.

BBC News reporting that Sir Rex Hunt who was Governor of the Falkland Islands at the time of the Argentine invasion in 1982 has died.

had me confused for a minute as I was thinking about the my fair lady guy.

RIP to a proper statesman, his description of hiding under the dining room table is excellent.

Ditto. Enjoyed his company on a number of flights around the FI in 85. The Islanders thought the world of both he and his missus.

Talking of which. I can't find it anywhere on DVD (not for a reasonable price anyway) Anyone know if it's available to watch online? I feel it's time to give it another whirl.

Sad news about Sir Rex, the world is running out of proper gents sadly.
