    Very sad news.

  2. probably shed loads of red tape made it difficult to raise funds, I would love the chance to take one of the frigates/destroyers or even invincible, and give a few 100 youngsters the chance to learn seaman ship, electronic, mechanics, navigation, cooking, working as a team ( I could go on) but think of the red tape and insurance involved,

also the cost, bet if you sold it in the right way you could get the money...... Look at projects around the country that people have done, but had to work really hard at raising the money to do so, and must have felt like they were banging their heads against a brick wall... Two that spring to mind, The Vulcan Project, and the Eden project in Cornwall.
