    Is Indian cheese any good?

Interesting test case for the communism = crap cheese theory of international relations.

India of course was never communist, but certainly very socialist.

Hence we'd expect small amounts of reasonable, but never good cheese.

  2. I think the answer will be in the parts of the Indian cheese making industry that they honour the traditions of the Sahibs the cheese will be acceptable, in the parts where the principles of pan-Indian nationalism and the teachings of Gandhi have been embraced the cheese will taste like reconstituted cow-pats

    Britannia Dairy Natural Cheddar Cheese

As I suspected, it is possible to produce cheddar in India, though obviously of inferior quality to the real stuff, an honourable legacy of benevolent Imperial rule (note the web address), other than that, goat cheese and other 'unmentionable' local dross - they really need us back again to run the country properly, as I'm sure @earth will testify to.... though as he's Dutch I don't know why he'd know

    Yers..

Anywhere that thinks goat cheese is acceptable I think consigns themselves to the also ran cast offs of international power.

Greece and Italy once showed ambition, before we developed cheddar at any rate, now it's merely goat's cheese. They've given up.

Of course though it was stilton that powered the Royal Navy to greatness, the frogs and donkey squishers just couldn't match it's firepower.

  4. Hmmm he seems to have conclusively lost, quite incapable of toppling the US from it's preeminent position as the 'Grand Cheese' in production terms, with the U.K. winner in diversity. Russia sadly came nowhere.
