If the licensing process goes out of its way to deny the vast majority yes it does infringe upon the rights of the citizens.
So it's perfectly OK to infringe absolutely some rights in specific ways which aren't themselves restricted or codified at all; and the only rights which are absolutely untouchable are those which are specifically mentioned in the Constitution.

That's a remarkable definition of 'rights.'

When again was abortion a right?
When did the SC declare that they were illegal?
Why is it not ok for states to restrict abortions to match the same standards that other countries abroad have?

Well it does matter, because you are foaming at the math over a potential non issue.
But if you want to be that guy that likes to dish it out but can't take it in return that is your call.

foaming? No. I'm very calm about all this as It doesn't have an impact on me. I find the whole thing very weird. If you look back you'll see I was actually questioning the way some people have chosen to fight this.
I would ask what I'm "dishing out", but that would involve encouraging you to interact further with me. I do not wish that as you are clearly, and please excuse my use of technical terms here, utterly ******* bonkers.

I say again, "Good day"

"Period- and fertility-tracking apps have become weapons in Friday's post-Roe America.

These seemingly innocuous trackers contain tons of data about sexual history, menstruation and pregnancy dates, all of which could now be used to prosecute women seeking abortions — or incite digital witch hunts in states that offer abortion bounties.

Under a law passed last year in Texas, any citizen who successfully sues an abortion provider, a health center worker, or anyone who helps someone access an abortion after six weeks can claim at least $10,000, and other US states are following that example."

So you can't provide a State that this niece lives in...
Yet you willingly accept that it is ok to undermine another nation's institutions when they do things you don't agree with as long as it America.
Got it buckwheat.

Except when the US does, the ROW screams for the US to involve itself...
Especially when the bad people are to much to handle and the world needs the guy with the biggest stick to keep bad actors in check. Policing the world is so Bush Jr...

Well if countries didn't attempt Blue Falcon style moves, like say Boris Johnson and allowing China to control certain parts of your infrastructure, you wouldn't be horse collared and bolloxed.

But then again when does the US involve itself in your domestic choices? Nobody here was protesting your countries choice to overlook child grooming and sexual abuse that was condoned by local government.
Might I ask you to consult you geriatric POTUS about the first sentence in your last paragraph, you might also like to ask Obama as well, both endorsed the worst piece of shite ever to be given air room.

We will also keep quiet about, terrorism, as you're pretty new at the game, we'll also forget the hypocrisy of paying to keep the Nationalist scum going in Ulster !

Nice to see you think, both Gulf Wars and Afghanistan were all your own work...nice departure from Afghanistan by the way.

Both were also heavily rebuked for their whoopsies.

You might want to take those points to the threads that have discussed those points to death.

..."rebuked", I'll have to remember that one.

Shit decisons and, hypocrisy, can never be "discussed to death" !

Perhaps in some ways in some places in the US. Complete leftist lunacy seems to be far more common in many cities and states . I‘m not talking specifically about abortion .
I keep seeing this term 'leftist lunacy' everywhere on discussion sites, the USA has never had 'Left' politics as we in Europe would recognise. Indeed, to me both Party's in the US are in effect Conservative, the Republicans with a C and the Democrats with a c. The whole thing about 'Socialists' and 'Far Left' is this incorrect connotation that 'Communism' (the Politics which can't be mentioned without fainting and fits), will consume the USA and McCarthyism has much to be condemned for, the effects are still felt today. There is zero chance of the UK becoming a 'Marxist/Socialist' 'Communist' state and even less in the USA but rise of Christian fundamentalism seems to be as bad as that espoused by Fundamentalist Islamists and we know exactly what most Americans think of that, so I find it quite hypocritical that espousing similar authoritarian ideals doesn't seem to occur to these people...

Religions exist so that men can tell women what they can do.
They need laughing at until they die.
Can a non-believer opt out of rules made specifically by religious believers?. Should that be a 'thing', just because some ancient text says that these 'superior' beings exist/ed, doesn't give anyone the right to tell anyone else how to behave surely...

You're being dumb again. Just thought you might like someone to tell you before you make a complete idiot of yourself.

Religions have effectively created all our cultural norms that led into laws in order to build societies. In the UK the 10 Commandments and christian beliefs are the core of our system, and similar in Middle East and Asia.

Abortion won’t be outlawed, you are buying into the woke hyperventilation.

What will happen is that States will be able to create their own laws that fit them. Remember we are not all NY, CA, or IL.
I get that but isn't the whole Religiosity of the debate tending to cloud the issue?. Shouldn't it be for Medical Science to decide at what point 'life' starts or should it be left to Philosophy? especially, given that Religion is a choice and in a secular society one's Religious views should have no bearing on a situation. This whole Gods law v Mans law seems to me just another way for one group to control another, the former of which there is little evidence to support actually existed or exists...but there I go pushing my opinion...

Agree.

Luckily we’re talking about Fetusses so not sure what your point is.
I think we are living in quite an enlightened age, we can do wonders with advances in Medical Science, so why are we adhering to a theory that has no basis in fact, just Philosophy and surely that is being deliberately obtuse to the point of self delusion?
