Shotgun broken striker advice needed

Returning from clay ground today my 1980s Sarriugarte O/U was not breaking fully, ie I couldn’t insert the bottom barrel snap cap. When it finally did open about a 4-5mm length of bottom firing pin fell out.
Is this an easy repair for a gunsmith? Gun is only worth £3-400 at most but otherwise in exceptional nick for its age so I don’t want to scrap it.
Thanks for any advice.

...usually poor heat treatment of the strikers.

I make them out of silver steel, harden and temper to dark straw,,

Yes. Took it to chap you suggested. One of those blokes you instantly have confidence in. Thanks again.
When it's back and you are happy please tell everyone if not ffs keep it to yourself

He is very good, last at the moment in a long line of very good gun smiths.

Very pleased. Took it to Tony Sorrell at Northall CPC, near Maresfield, as recommended by Ugly. Fixed it quicker than expected, very reasonable price, and also had a look at my Beretta fit and mount when I collected it.
All told, very happy.
