Just wanted to share a photo with you lot of my mate out in Afghan. Made me piss my pants. His girlfriend sent him a santa outfit and as you can see he put it to good use.

Four of them against an old man and they didn't even manage to nick his presents, puffs.
They were just a distraction the other 4 in the section were carving up reindeer meat and chopping up the sleight for fire wood, while St Nick was busy.

I don't think Santa was on that segment of training.

Phil Shiner will be along in a minute for that photo

I can see the Daily Mail headline tommorrow

British Troops Renact Danny Boy Massacare

A leading civil Liberties lawyer today claimed that after the battle of Dannty Boy in Iraq British Soldiers dressed as Santa in May and shot a number of Iraqi's wearing borrowed Army fatigues

Its five dedicated British TA soldiers serving their country at war having some Christmas humour during their down time and sharing with their friends back home.

It is not mean to be ill timed or in bad taste, old chap.

Are you suggesting we lost the cold war and the soviets had the upper hand? Does the red represent the Hammer and sickle?

No one is suggesting that it's in bad taste, or ill timed.
