[FONT=&quot]Our client is responsible for project service support, supporting equipment and tooling, rental support, spares and field technical support. Workscopes includes mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and fibre optic re-termination of subsea cables and umbilical’s. In addition to this, the group also carries out / supervises the installation and testing of umbilical’s both onshore and offshore worldwide. This role provides Service Support to the Customer and Field Service team as required.[/FONT] [FONT=&quot] [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]What are we looking for?[/FONT][FONT=&quot] Ideally the perfect Service Support Engineer would have the following:[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering qualification [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Medium or High voltage power cable experience [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Power cable stripping, preparation and testing experiences [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Cable jointing experience [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Offshore certified although not essential [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Offshore wind farm experience although not essential [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Fibre Optic qualifications and experience i.e. splicing and testing [/FONT]
· [FONT=&quot]Cable deployments (offshore) would be desirable [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Main duties of the job[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
  1. [FONT=&quot]Be the Client focal point for all Field Service requests for support. [/FONT]
  2. [FONT=&quot]Provide front end Technical support to customer. [/FONT]
  3. [FONT=&quot]Maintain Service Technician forecast model. [/FONT]
  4. [FONT=&quot]Maintain Service utilisation model to support scheduling plan. [/FONT]
  5. [FONT=&quot]Access job requirements and plan accordingly [/FONT]
  6. [FONT=&quot]Use company systems to retrieve relevant data. [/FONT]
  7. [FONT=&quot]Co-ordinate Technician travel & accommodation utilising Service Admin support. [/FONT]
  8. [FONT=&quot]Package and/or draft new guiding Procedures for Service workscopes in the field. [/FONT]
  9. [FONT=&quot]Assist the Sales Co-ordinator in developing a robust Spares and Rental efficient and effective call-off process. [/FONT]
  10. [FONT=&quot]Maintain a professional bearing at all times and actively promote client products and services to customers whenever possible. [/FONT]
  11. [FONT=&quot]Ensure that all paperwork regarding each job is completed in a timely manner so that invoicing can be completed. This includes site reports, expenses, test sheets, etc. [/FONT]
  12. [FONT=&quot]Support development and delivery of monthly KPI’s aligned to the Aftermarket business. [/FONT]
  13. [FONT=&quot] Develop Service support capability for clients supplied Reeler Systems. [/FONT]
  14. [FONT=&quot]Support the development of a Reel Rental business model. [/FONT]
  15. [FONT=&quot]Comply with the company’s health and safety policy. Comply with the local policies of customers, which apply to each site visited. Ensure that all work completed is carried out with safety as a priority. [/FONT]
  16. [FONT=&quot]Support the Company initiatives to gain and retain ISO 9001 & 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations. Staff are required to be aware of the Standards and ensure they operate to them. [/FONT]

· [FONT=&quot]Hold a Technical Qualification in a Mechanical and/or Electrical discipline or similar.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Preferably 3+ experience with Cables and Umbilical equipment[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Ideally have experience of an Oil & Gas field support business [/FONT] [FONT=&quot] [/FONT]
