The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Got " TA seniors Cse" coming up, any help ideas, lesson plans, anything!! Wll be very helpful!
What cap badge? Is that RE?
Drill seems to feature a bit. And leadership.
Try the TA/Training Wing boards?
Alternatively square your fitness away and get in amongst your JIs, carry out any recommended pre course reading, arrive with everything on the kit list.
I was advised to learn a few quotes from famous generals, the DS weren't impressed when I kept quoting Rommel. This was back in '94.
My personal favourite:
'In the absence of orders, go find something and kill it.'
Was it Rommel who said, 'The British Army has the best training pamphlets in the world; it is a good job their officers do not read them.'?
Edit - it was doctrine he spoke about.
Cheers, yeah phys, orders and admin inst. Sounds about right, hopefully next summer in weymouth
Everyone is still missing Rommel's best quote, so often used on ARRSE as well.
Is that the famous 'if you can't pot the pink, cos the red's in the way, go for the brown'
No that was Terry Griffiths.
Ahh, a bit like Monty then.
