  1. hi all, can somebody tell me if the Korea UN medal was engraved with the persons name, number etc.

the reason i'm asking is that my grandad served during the war, and he gave me his medal when i was a kid, now however i seem to have misplaced it and if i can't find it, i want to get a replacement!

  2. my UN medal wasn't engraved - I don't think any ever were
  3. cheers mate, appreciated
  4. neither UN or NATO medals have info about the individual engraved on them.
  5. When you get your replacement make sure it's got the right ribbon for the period. Not sure what change there was to the medal itself.
  6. But it's twin the 'Queen's Korea Medal would have been named.
  7. Never knew you could get replacments!

I lost my dads Zimbabwe independence medal from '81 when I moved house can I get that replaced too?
