Good morning,

I am considering applying for the above course and was wondering whether it has changed from what I hear the old one was like, essentially i hear that it used to be a good one to get on but now it has moved up to catterick it has become AGAI central and not worth bothering with.

Has anyone done the new course and if so can you offer any advice?

Sadly I have been listening to the same story on every course for close on 30 years.

Rule 1
No course is ever as good/hard/relevant/fun as it used to be.

Rule 2
Young soldiers these days are not as tough/dedicated/educated/determined/fit as they used to be.

Rule 3
No weapon is ever as good as the one it replaced

Are you getting the theme here?

Did the course a couple of months ago. No intro to camp, just 20 minutes warm up drill. Plenty of boozing if you want to. Very good instructors up there. Enjoyed it
