Holiday Pay earned at 12.07% of hours worked.
Contracted for an average 29 hours per week (4 Days on 1630-0000, 4 Days Off, 4 Days 0000-0900, 4 Days Off) - Successful candidate will be able to work additional hours on other sites when available.

Role Detail
K9 Protection are looking to recruit SIA Licensed security guards to cover a front desk task for a client in the Cardiff area.
The task will include but not be limited to:
  • manning the front desk of the building is the primary role, including monitoring cameras, intruder and fire panels, and providing access control for various patrons.
  • carrying out a sweep and head-count of areas of the building at preset times to ensure only authorised users are present.
  • managing the keys - checking them in and out as they are required by authorised users.
  • being be the first aid point of contact for users of the building when the facilities team are off site.
  • allowing authorised users vehicle keys for the client's fleet.
  • booking in and logging lost property as and when it's handed in.
  • liaising with event security teams when the building is being used for licensable activity to ensure the building remains secure.

About You
An SIA licence in either guarding or door supervision is essential. A CCTV licence and First Aid certificate would be advantageous, but will be provided to the right applicant.

A people-friendly demeanour with the ability to take a firm but fair approach. The role requires the applicant to be confident to work alone and to follow the assignment instructions in order to make decisions.
Being able to speak, and write in English is essential, and other languages would be advantageous.

We use a large amount of modern technology including fire panels, digital logging software, and a PC based logging system
