Secure storage - things that shouldnt really need it.

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Most of you will know about this nonsense:
I have two Martini Henry Rifles. One is on my firearm certificate, one is held as an antique or curio. S58(2) ( i.e antique held as a curiosity or ornament)

The first must be locked up, the second doesn't need to be.

A similar nonsense is having a reproduction flintlock musket that must be locked up when a S58(2) Breech loader can be hung on the wall.

Any ideas for secure ways of fastening such things up so they can be on display? Something ornamental ideally.
