The thing is the UK are having a general election next year hence potential tax cuts; Scotland is not due a GE for the Wee Hoose until 2025 hence tax hikes. They will come some time later as the cuts from Whitehall go up post GE.
It would be laughable if not so predictable.

No but it makes a GE result a bit more worrying for the SNP, theres a few seats that's a narrow majortiy that tax cuts might swing the seats to the tories, Not sure if labour would honour them either,
I'd have said until the attacks in Isreal a labour Govt was a certainty, I'm not sure now with the pro-Palestine protests and labour caught in the middle of it many of the white working class that lent a vote to the tories might just do so again due to the racist marches of the past few weeks thats probably moved folk a few notches more to the right.
Still anything that wipes the smirk of Flynn/Smyths face and the lost SNP majority in the HoC which stops them claiming they "speak for Scotland" plus the melt down of the nat-**** front page the following morning will be epic.
