Are they expecting any one else.
True dat, With some big names having pulled out and others looking wobbly. Ms Sturgeon may get over her pique at not being centre stage if too many more significant worlds players pull out and she can call 'flop'in a pointy kind of way.

It must register as a concern that HMQ spent a night in hospital, fingers have to be tightly crossed that the Boss can still make it.

Back to the ship(?) It would be a guess, but potentially comfortable, secure accommodation/ base for the additional police gathering from various English forces, putting them close in to the venue, leaving the local force to deal with the geographical challenges of protesters blocking parts of Glasgow that local knowledge would be key to.

If the on board bars are open, that saves any shore bound excursions into the drinking dens (aka Biffa Bars) of inner Glasgow for any off duty coppers, though a lost opportunity for cultural exchanges in a more relaxed environment.

In any normal law enforcement agency that’s what you might expect. Unfortunately Police Scotland has already announced that it has surrendered to trouble makers and will not be enforcing the law but it’s first priority is the comfort and safety of rioters, trouble maker and other people making the lives of taxpayer a misery - and making it more expensive for us.

Failing education system, being told it’s failing - engage the SNP/SG SOP’s and throw money at it hoping it will go away safe in the knowledge that the uneducated, non enquiring majority of people will only see/hear that “but we are spending £800 more per child to improve the system than England”.

Sound-bytes from the propaganda machine instead of actually dealing with the problem happy to throw good money after bad with no recourse, at least comments are quite enlightening but will be ignored or crayoned over by the Natbots.

“SNP MSP, and former teacher, Kaukab Stewart said the Scottish government's investment was "paying off".
"School buildings are in the best condition since records began, teacher numbers are higher than they've been since 2008, this year the number of Higher passes was at its highest since devolution, the number of Scottish students accepted to university is at a record high, and much more," she said.
"As we move out of the pandemic and into recovery, it is vital that our schools are put on a footing to continue to get the best for Scotland's young people."
Closing the "poverty-related attainment gap" was an SNP priority and a further £1bn would be invested in the Scottish Attainment Challenge during this parliament, she added.”

So the buildings are in good Nick and higher passes are the “highest since 2008” which the sceptic, or realist, in me thinks has a lot to do with the lack of formal examinations during Covid lockdowns and the SG/SQA shenanigans.

They can’t half polish a turd……..

Can someone remind me, as I forget, have we actually seen the final un-redacted report into the state of the education system that was postponed due to the last lot of Scottish Elections.
“ and throw English tax-payers’ money at it hoping it will go away safe in the knowledge that the uneducated, non enquiring majority of people will only see/hear that “but we are spending £800 more of English tax-payers’ money per child to improve the system than England”.

All that English money seems to be missing its target. One wonders where it's landing...

Suspect Sleepy Joe will be using Marine 1 to travel back and forwards.
I Suspect that the uber Walt your replying to will be booking some time off from aisle 5 and tugging his turgid member whilst shouting ne naw at the side of the M8 watching all the police/security vehicles go up and down the motorway over the next few weeks.

Don't feed the site dullard.

Coppers told to facilitate the crusties blocking the road, You have to wonder who's told the police this and if on purpose to score points as the Sturgeon has been side lined from the event. Solicitors on strike as well during during COP26 so if lifted can't be processed this is going to turn into a right shitefest

You can't fool me, that's not a Deputy Chief Constable, that's Emperor Mong in his civvies! Look at his eyebrows and bald head, for feck's sake!

I'd be laughing my arse off if by some chance a wee time portal opened up and either Kretschmer or Prien sailed up the Clyde in their U-Boats and sent a couple of tin fish right up the nether regions of one of the biggest and shiniest targets ever to present themselves into their periscope.

(Actually these are Pakistani SF, but given the close relationship between the Taliban and ISI, it's only a matter of time...)

Well, given that the brother of one of the Taliban's top commanders lives on a farm a sparrow's fart away from Faslane, they may already be here.

Detain them, and then transport them to a tented secure compound on the Garelochead DZ until duty solicitors become available. They can superglue themselves to any dry surface that they can find up there.

SNP Scotland now two homeless young girls one with a needle sticking out of her leg the other needs a walking frame to get about.

Theres a type of junky who i can feel sorry for, poor souls, on their own who have lost their way.

The outraged wummin shouting at them has switched off her irony detector: 'av goat fakin kids ye *********'. I think the junkies have more class.

Had an interesting chat this evening with someone responsible for rescuing people from the Clyde, seems that having the Clyde as one boundary is expected to be exciting. Waterborne protests along with loonies attempting to swim or paddle board across from the bbc are on the menu. I do hope that they glue themselves to banks at low tide.
