Scottish Politics Thread

glanced at the national as I was covering it with the times this afternoon in ASDA

BBC are apparently now biased against the SNPeeeeees....... if by that they are meaning they are no longer giving them a free ride, then it is not before f ucking time

Well, that's a spanner in t'works.
The photograph in the article says it all - though I am not sure if the 'look' relates to the submarine base move or the need for British armed forces to assist the Scottish NHS.

Of course, in an independent Scotland it would be 115%, where the ambulance comes to your house and uses a blanket to catch you as you fall off the step ladder so you don't even get hurt and don't even need to be inconvenienced with a hospital visit.
Your not far off with that tounge in cheek remark, The amount of compliants coming in from those missing home visits as they were out getting their hair done/shopping etc so the nurses would need to come back, Then when nurses say if your fit to go shopping etc then fit enough to visit the GP practice,

Oh that costs money in petrol/ taxi etc

Some right grifters out there.

As my late auld faither would say "Ye wudnae tak a burst pay poke hame tae a face like that"

what's peoples thoughts on the SNP/Sturgeon actually losing support and/or finally being found out? - every night my mother who detests Sturgeon, phones me and tells me that Sturgeon is being 'hammered' in Holyrood, the media and social media but personally i cannot detect any particular loss of support for her.

Admittedly I dont really know any SNP/Sturgeon supporters and I struggle to believe the cult will abandon her until there is an obvious replacement and we all know she's got the police and courts protecting her for anything illegal such as the missing 600k.

But, the papers do seem to be reporting on her failures far more regularly and shock horror! they've started pinning stuff directly on her such as the ambulance/nhs

Should I finally dare to get my hopes up or is she Teflon still? - genuinely interested to hear what everyone else thinks and particularly from those who actually know some SNP supporters

Until someone in her own party stands up to her and is a credible replacement the Teflon will stay in place. Having the Police and Courts in her pocket and Westminster disinclined to protect the Scottish people whom they also "govern" is the ultimate get out of jail free card.

The papers you are referring to are not the papers that the cult read - they are in her pocket as well or, as one editor told me some time ago "we dare not print anything too negative - if we do we will never be invited to another briefing"........

This photo recently appeared on Twitter, it may cause a few moments behind the SNP closed doors. It is from 2012 apparently View attachment 605783

No mention of his links to PIE - one of his cats was called ‘orange bastard’.

The proIndy faction have been complaining about the anti SNP stance for years, especially in the run up to the first IndyRef.

There were even demonstrations against the BBC.

As one who has specialised in domiciliary visits for the last couple of decades, this is not new.
It has always happened.

Even going to care homes can be hit or miss. Relatives taking folk out, hairdresser appointments etc.

Health often appears to be a low priority.
