A “Traitor to the Motherland”!!! He and his nest of rats will get what’s coming to them, McComrade!!!

iIn all seriousness, one thing I do notice about Scotland - and I’ve lived here on & off since birth by the way - is we are fast becoming a society intolerant of any “departure from the approved path’. The acceptance of different points of view seems to be utterly lost on - in particular - our Nationalist friends, instead resorting to personal insults / doxxing / loss of temper in interviews etc etc etc.

I'm afraid that this is the politics of division and referenda - Tony B Liar and the Labour party deliberately set us on this path because they thought devolution would keep them in power in Westminster in perpetuity and the country has been a cess pool of division and hatred ever since, with the fall of Labour and the rise of the SNP.

Much of it is based on very clever propaganda and gullibility by very clever socialists who I suspect were trained to do so by organisations keen to see the west collapse, much like the proudly Marxist terrorist group BLM in the USA - most of the SNP cult were Labour before but the SNP incredibly quickly and cleverly stole their support with promises of sunny uplands and money trees.

The prime candidate to blame for this is Tony Blair and the Labour party who did so many dreadful things which have seriously hurt the country ever since he implemented them. Mass uncontrolled immigration, illegal wars, raiding the pension funds, the creation of the uni industry, selling off the gold cheap, the devaluation of school exams and the growth of mickey mouse quals , masive expansion of the welfare state and leaving millions behind on the scrap heap

- the list is endless of short sighted policies purely to gain/keep power but downstream resulting in the breakdown of social cohesion, lost opportunities and bitterness and hatred which the SNP took full advantage of by promising the desperate and depressed that they could make it all go away if we were only independent. My point on that is that a lot of the people who failed so badly in Labour switched to the SNP but didnt gain any competence in the move!

She only has a bit part, if any, at the big do at the end of the year.
I’m sure that on the build up to the first cancelled event she wanted to be Billy big balls and was chinned off by U.K. gov.

The SG/SNP thereafter went out their way booking venues and hotels for fringe events hosted by SG which was leaving the real hosts of the conference short on venues for all the going’s on.

Intolerance, a pillar of the SNP, along with:
Division
Exclusion
Blame
Seaweed Ya Bass

They did, displaying the immature nature of the SNP, spiteful and disruptive. It was also no surprise to learn about Sturgeon’s ‘babbling’ during the Cobra meetings.
Her small mind needs minded, to misquote Eldridge Cleaver:
‘You either have to be part of the solution, or you're going to be part of the problem.'

we are talking about a woman who hijacked Covid for daily propaganda briefings to spout her division, fear mongering and hatred, ran out of cobra briefings to get to the press first to undercut the UK govt and has jumped on every anti-UK bandwagon she can whether it is from her EU masters are that useless twat Biden and his far left incompetent cronies.

The very idea, that she wouldn't do literally anything she can to steal the highlight of being Queen Nicola in front of all the countries leaders attending and the worlds media is laughable! She may indeed only be slated for a 'bit' part but there is zero chance she wont come up with a way to take centre stage whilst backstabbing the RoTUK

You're not a fan of hers are you?

I really cant understand the SNP approach to Covid - apparently Glasgow always gets hammered whilst Edinburgh is simultaneously over run with tourists. Its ok for 6000 people to watch the euros every night for a month in the park but a cruise ship cannot dock in Greenock despite the vast majority of passengers (including Scottish passengers) being double vaccinated and all of them triple covid tested, and Scottish passengers cannot even join the ship in Greenock even if the others on board are not allowed off

but, we all know that sturgeon wouldn't dream of cancelling the upcoming Glasgow 2021 climate conference in nov so she can big it up on the world stage
I have just seen an advert on channel 5 saying that they're going to be docking at Greenock as part of the MSC cruise from Southampton. MSC must be really pissed now after spending all that money.

I'm sure the SNP are not the only ones tht have done this

My question would be not how much are they spending but why do they feel the ned to spend it in the first place
This is a global pandemic and the UK Elected Government is dealing with it that includes a media campaign on tv radio and in print.
Have things got that bad that people in Scotland would rather die than here an English accent telling them what's best to be done.
Why has Scot Gov needed a separate media campaign.

It would also explain why so much media in Scotland is on side throwing that type of money about.
No negativity if you want a slice of the cake

Will the people of Greenock not miss out also I assume there must be some sort of fee for parking a ship and people spending money to get home etc if they are getting off

Also noticed that the aircraft carriers seem to sail to Scotland to get ammo and supplies before deploying
Is that normal and presumably would stop if independence was gained

the very premise of the SNP is to seek division and to create it where it doesn't exist. They learned well from another National Socialist regime in its use of Propaganda to control the narrative, iron control of the media and the courts and the creation of anti-free speech laws such as hamza useless has recently unleashed on Scotland. To the SNP any monies spent to present 'their truth' is worth it and the Scottish people should just shut up and listen but we dont have a functioning Opposition or independent media to challenge them.

Can only reference in terms of Invergordon.

Yes, the port makes money but it's a private company.

The tour bus companies make money but they are usually a mix of local and national.

Actual spend by tourists is pretty low in the port itself. And that's offset by the locals avoiding the town on a ship day.

SNP would have to replace the UK aircraft carrier visiting Scottish ports/bases with Russian/Chinese in return for the money the Barnett formula currently gives them to balance the books and pay for the freebies

IIRC as a young un many of the Worlds Navy's used to visit Rothesey on the Isle of Bute.
I remember going down on our annual holiday to watch a large American Navy Warship dock there.

But it's still a big infrastructure to lose must be jobs up there dependant on it plus I assume Faslane would be gone also

Back in the day it wasn't unusual for Soviet and East German factory ships to visit Ullapool. Not all the fish processors on board were fisherman either!

Back in the day, the runs ashore to Rothesay meant fresh dna for the ladies of the island.

Similarly they used to visit Thurso.

Occasionally one would be prevented from sailing due to failure of basic safety provision
