Which is alright if your teacher likes you, a problem I never had.....

Still with elections just round the corner best change it so as not annoy any of the 16 year old voters or their parents .

Time for the Deputy First Minister to throw himself on the sword, or maybe he’s waiting for the overdue Scottish Education Review report that they have managed to bury until a month after the Scottish elections citing Covid...... pCynical, me......

“Judge me on my record”....... and if it’s not good we’ll just give you the grades to suit. A bit like quantitive easing for the education system!
That is an excellent way of describing the situation! :)

Voting at 16 is supported by every major political party and most small ones with the exception of Conservatives
Given the politics of the average student I can see why all the other parties would be up for adding a raft of people likely to vote for them to the roll.

What's the UKIP/BP position?

UKIP wants to remain 1t 18
BP has a bland reform the voting system without saying how.

Quantitative easing might have been better.

It's no surprise that the left of centre party's want to reduce the voting age. However due to the falling birthrate and people living longer, socialism will be dead in the water in 20 years time.

The SPL's coat's hanging on a shoogly peg. Sturgeon has made it clear it's a Yellow Card this time. Any more players get caught breaking Social Distancing and it's a Red for the whole League.

Some fans have made the suggestion they end the League right now and just give the title to Hibs. :-D

If she doesn't like the results on Saturday, she can always get Swinney to change them!

I don’t reckon that Sturgeon has the minerals to stop the SPL over this as her popularity amongst a significant part of her voter base would plummet as football comes above all else and with elections just around the corner it’s a risk she could do without.

That became obvious at today's party political press briefing where, when asked directly if she would ban teams who broke the regulations, she backtracked very quickly saying it was not for her but for the SFA to discipline any teams. She almost had a canary at the podium.

Yep another political minefield she could do without I have little to no doubt certain influential football teams would start to brief against her should she come down hard on them and prevent progress towards games with spectators.

Look at the lack of success they(ScotGov) had over the whole sectarian issue

It would be nice to see just how far ScotGov could legally enforce against teams
