Scotland & Independence

Beware of the internet opinion pieces. They distort the narrative.

Work on the assumption that most people don’t feel like posting opinions and her fire don’t bother.

There’s been a lot of vocal criticism of the nats, but they’ve cleverly taken advantage of the collapse of Labour In Scotland to gain power and believe that they speak for all of Scotland.

I suspect you’ll start seeing now that Brexit is over and done with, now we’ve got control over legislation again, people will revert back to voting SNP for local elections and the more traditional parties in the general elections.

Why’s free all would you vote for a regional party that has no say in multi regional issues.

The SNP thought they’d be king makers in Westminster, but the only politicians who wanted their supper were the desperate minority who were fanatical pro EU.

I’m hoping that Brexit will see a resurgence in decent quality parliamentarians now, which as you can see from Ian Blackford in the house are somewhat lacking in the SNPs party.
Some of the ways in which the Nats have chosen to spend their funding from England really are like a red rag to a bull, in particular the University Tuition fees and free prescriptions, which are obvious and antagonistic in their nature.
Over the past year, Wee Jimmy Cranky has been also lauded by Boris' detractors for her stricter measures than England on COVID regs. Unlike BoJo, she doesn't have to balance any benefit with the likely economic damage they'll cause because the Scots will never have to pick up the tab, as the 'Bastard English' will do that. It's easier to look strong and dynamic by implementing economically damaging restrictions when you won't have to foot the bill for them.
As has been said, the 'silent majority' of Scots who oppose independence are just that, we never hear their voices. Thank God for Neil Oliver. Even though I envy his hair, the bastard.

Is this the free university tuition fees that have shafted the poorest in society . (Working class kids go to college. College places have been cut to fund university tuition.)

You heard their voices in 2014. You’ll hear the again.
