Scholarship Board run time...

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. So, 2 days until my board and I'm worried sick about what an average 500m run time is.
My mate said he could do it in 1:08 but that's because he runs for bloody London...

    Cheers

  2. As unhelpful as it is - I don't have a clue.

I didn't know before I went what my time was and nobody told me when I was there either. As a rule of thumb I would say that as long as you keep up with everyone else and you sprint fast enough to be panting like mad at the end then they will give you marks for effort. Remember, the Scholarship board isn't looking for the ability to pass a PFT (very few at my board could!) or push out hundreds of press-ups they are looking for potential - as long as you are putting the effort in then no worries!

Goodluck and let us know how you get on!
