When in Rome....

How long was the gunman in the USA before he immersed himself in the country's traditional pastime of a mass shooting
They are actually not too bad as spree killers, you have a good chance aa long as you keep friends with the whole class

International legitimacy to foreign policy.

We have it and the USA want it, so strings are attached.
The UK is in a bit of a muddle, and next week could be very interesting. You might rise from the ashes like a Phoenix, or just start to circle the drain.

Without UK standing by the US decision to invade Iraq and Afghanistan you would have been international pariahs.

Militarily, no problem.

Diplomatically...

The world tends to hate us regardless of what we do or don’t do. But at least you know you are doing things right, when people don’t like you.

WTF , - FILMING ? - Seriously ?!
Either fantastic presence of mind to secure evidence for prosecution, or something much much darker.
Summit way way wrong here.
Curiouser and curiouser.

'The Saudi student who fatally shot three people at a U.S. naval base in Florida hosted a dinner party earlier in the week where he and three others watched videos of mass shootings, a U.S. official told The Associated Press on Saturday.

'One of the three students who attended the dinner party videotaped outside the building while the shooting was taking place at Naval Air Station Pensacola on Friday, said the U.S. official, who spoke on condition of anonymity after being briefed by federal authorities. Two other Saudi students watched from a car, the official said.

'The official said 10 Saudi students were being held on the base Saturday while several others were unaccounted for.'

But apparently not the KSA.:p

'President Donald Trump this afternoon tweeted that he spoke on the phone with Saudi Arabia's King Salman, who he said expressed 'sincere condolences' to those impacted by the shooting. Trump added that King Salman informed him the Saudi people love Americans and 'are greatly angered by the barbaric actions of the shooter...' '

Yup they love us so much, that they record a mass shooting attack. The King knows his country is in deep shit.

KSA has been in the dwang for many years, but the West (led by, but by no means exclusively the USA) continues to turn a blind eye to this bunch of ****s.

Not nearly as much as retro-chemical dependency.
That is not quite the issue it was in the past.
The fracking boom has been a phenomenal thing for America.

But we have to work with the Saudi’s to contain the Iranians and keep the Gulf open. Western Europe won’t chip in, and aside from you folks and the Aussies nobody else will really chip in.

But now we have to worry about green on blue with the Saudi trainees, and how to imprison them and make sure they are not a threat when they are here. While pretending to trust them.

Yeah, because all those nice, progressive Sunnis love the West, while all those terrorist Iranian-backed Shia ... oh, wait a minute...

Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

But I don’t expect the students that return to the Kingdom will be on the Kings good side.
