San Francisco honours Martin McGuinness

The awful sentiment aside, the 'certificate' is tacky as hell. It looks like the warranty on a new double-glazed window.

Takes a special kind of spacker to give their kid a middle name starting with N if their surname is Breed. And even more special type of spacker to actually use it, abbreviated, on official docs.

Perhaps we should erect a stature of OBL in Parliament Squre in "sympathy".
Like those cheeky chimps in Teheran? The regularly-violated British Embassy is on Bobby Sands Street; the new US Embassy in Ankara is on Malcolm X Street. Shall we think of a suitable name for the new US Embassy in Vauxhall?

Hey don’t let the City of San Francisco bend you lot over!!

I suggest you start giving it back to those dirty rich yuppies.
Then again that stiff upper lip might backfire and get you the wrong kind of attention.

You can't judge the US based on anywhere in California and especially can't judge us based on San Francisco.
Hillary's biggest bloc of votes came from California. If she had won the Pentagon would be running bake sales to buy food for the troops and fuel for planes, ships and tanks.
San Francisco is the most left leaning major city in America. Californicators in Congress want to give the vote to illegal immigrants and 16 year olds.
Back during the Obama years the US Navy named a cargo/logistics ship, USNS Cezar Chavez for a militant labor organizer despite the fact that Chavez often referred to his two years in the Navy as "the worst years of my entire life"
Not surprising that McGuinness was honored by SF politicians
I second what DavidBOC said. Don't take it too much to heart as nobody listens to what the Californicators say anyway.

We judge those who honour terrorists, and those who funded terrorists (looking at you Boston). It is not judging all Americans, just the fenian 'oirish american' terrorist hugging scum.

It's not just Boston, the collection buckets go around the bar collecting for the cause in a few cities. New York, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland to name but a few.

SWMBO banned me from all Irish bars/pubs or such places that sound even vaguely Irish back in 1996.

You people and your horrible excitement. In one week it is mick appreciation day!

Benedict Arnold Avenue.
Has a sort of jaunty dashing Revolutionary War flavour to it I think. He had the Brits in Canuk land sweating bullets during his Quebec campaign to free the Great White North from the jackboot of John Bull. (Qubecois say Yay!)

Perhaps we could rename The House of Commons toilets after Tony and Cherie.
