    Job Description
    The Safety group are looking to recruit a permanent Safety Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that delivered products are safe to operate and maintain as well as providing safety engineering support and advice to all projects & bids.
    You will be responsible for the maintenance and implementation of the company Safety Process (SAP-960) across all projects.
    You will be responsible for managing safety work packages for all applicable projects, provide safety support to all company bids, produce safety plans, safety cases & safety certificates for all company safety procedures, provide advice and support to all engineers and managers on the implementation of DEF STAN 00-56, JSP 454, MIL STD 882, BS EN 61508, CE Marking and any relevant legislation when needed.
    About You
    The ideal candidate for this role will have preferably worked within the safety-engineering arena within the land, air, nuclear, rail or space industry.
    Relevant knowledge with the correct safety standards dependent on industry knowledge (DEF STAN etc) is required.
