Safe forms of food.

I was thinking about this in the gym today. Tuna is rich in heavy metals and if you eat to much you will get mercury poisoning, turkey, chicken and beef is pumped full of hormones and other drugs to increase the mass/profit (unless it is free range organic and expensive) and soya tastes nasty.
Fruit and veg are sprayed with pesticides and some are even genetically modified.
Is there any thing safe to eat that will not kill you or turn you into a woman?
If you believed everything in the media, you would never eat.

If it bothers you so much, grow/breed your own food. If you have the cash, buy direct from a farm you trust.
