Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Budget airline Ryanair has launched a 1.48 billion euros (£1bn) bid to buy fellow Irish carrier Aer Lingus.

No fly's on Michael O'Leary!, Im supprised old Stellios has not gone in for a bid.
  2. It would be interesting to see how the unions react - they have a 15% stake in the company. The Irsih State retained 25.1% so it can't be a total buy out.

  4. Hope it's a better price than his bargain $72 a barrel fuel price deal. Remember the value of your investment can plummet as well as fall!
  5. Difficult to wish this obnoxious fellow anything but total disaster...
  6. But BSL,

O'Leary is a very rich obnoxious fellow!
  7. Good point, well made... but this chappy appears to come into the Alan Sugar category of boorishness whose operation may only thrive whilst their dictatorship remains.

Nothing seems to corrupt the human spirit more than success, at times...
  8. The same bloke who complained about delays due to extra security whilst making money charging for every extra item of luggage which had to be put in the hold as no hand luggage allowed under the very same security restrictions?
