Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Its a bit like the Sunday Sport without the tits......pravda that is.

  2. I liked the picture of Claudia Keane
  3. Looks like the 1947 model but with a modern selector switch, improved grenade launcher, and a Picatinny rail.

    I want one!
  4. Sorry about that.
That site has never gave me problems, so I assumed it would be safe to slap up.
  5. If AVG dislikes Modern Firearms, try Kalashnikov AK-12 Unveiled | The Firearm Blog

    New Features:

    Ambidextrous forward charging handle.
    Smaller ejection port.
    New safety switch.
New fire control switch with three modes of fire (single shot, 3 round burst and full auto).
New hinged top cover. The cover is a lot more rigid that the previous AK rifles.
    Quad picatinny rails.
    Folding and length adjustable stock.
Ergonomic pistol grip (with a decent radius between trigger guard and grip).
New muzzle brake that attaches to standard NATO 22mm threading.
    Improved barrel rifling.

  6. What make this "Fifth Generation"? I make it three so far: 1) AK47 2) AKM 3) AK74

    Or have I missed some?
  7. I think it's
    1)AK-47, 2)AKM, 3)AK-74, 4)AK-74M. 5) AK-12

There's so many types of Kalashnikov, I get lost.
  8. First decent sight radius ever on a Kalash
  9. I like the part which says: "The AK-12 has classic configuration, which creates a constructively simple automatic rifle with an option to mount powerful muzzles and large magazines"

Does it have a Picatinny rail on to which you can strap a Rottweiler?
