Calcutta Cup match on the first weekend?

Are they mad?

It's a game to close a tournament, not to bloody start one!

Why?
Genuine question. In the context of the 6 Nations, the Calcutta Cup is no more or less important than any other fixture.
Unless of course you are one of those sad bastards who thinks beating England is the only game that matters.
And anyway the games rotate year on year.

I think you will find that there are a lot of England fans who like seeing their side stuff Scotland and taking the Calcutta Cup too, old bean. Genuine question - are they sad bastards too?

Yes if it's the only game they bother about.

Yes if it's the only game they bother about.
It is certainly the one that generates most passion, from both English and Scottish supporters.

Not necessarily true. I originally come from Bristol and the Wales game was always the first one you looked for.
My point was though that why should the Calcutta Cup be the last game of the tournament?

Well, you Sassanachs need all the practice beforehand so it would not really be fair for Scotland to play you early in the comp! :)

Englands to lose. Two very easy away games, win points & BP beckon 8n both

Just turned on the radio for Chiefs/Sarries. The ref's already marched Saracens back 10 at a penalty - not once but FOUR times. How it didn't merit a yellow card at the third time is anyone's guess. Radio Devon always a joy to listen to - partisan, nooooo never!!!

I have no doubt we will hear all about the ref's performance later from a certain Arrser! :)

Billy Vuinopola gobbling off. TBF there were some questionable decisions IMHO.
I would like to see more of the ten metres being enacted.

"But... But.... Innit.... Nah.... Innit... Robd.... Shockin.... Innit Thah.... Nah in mah manna".

The highlights of the match wouldn't last more than a few seconds but imagine the penalty count against the Cheating Londoners if Farrell had been playing ;)

Typical. I will miss the England game as I am in The States.

Have you tried stronger tablets for your affliction. I’d recommend it
