The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Did anyone see on Central News the RTR service from the National Memorial Arboretum tonight?
Worth watching, probably on again on the 2000 hours news tonight.
Great to see the old lads wearing their berets 'Tanky Style'!
The 'Today Lads' looked very good as well.
  2. One more name for the memorial,
    2RTR lad KIA in Afghanistan.

I couldn't help noticing when young Trooper Josh passed through Wootton Basset, there was a piper in a uniform that screamed "RTR" at me.

ISTR that 4RTR (Jocks) merged with 1RTR and 2 with 3, but I am guessing that all tankies are tankies first and assigned to regiments second (I know it's been said on here often enough).

Damn fine show. Shame about the context.
  6. Thought this photo would fit well in this thread, credit to Peter Howell, Army Brat, Dad served 43-63 with 4th.RTR.
Pic taken at NMA in January 09.
I think a brilliant tribute to the men who serve in tanks.
