RRF Soldiers Found Not Guilty

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. "Judge Elias Georgiou ruled there was not enough evidence to link the servicemen to the offences."

    Good News!
  2. Bit of a surprise result. Cypriot courts don't normally let the facts get in the way of a guilty verdict. I think these lads were lucky (not withstanding their military punishment) as there is still an understandable amount of animosity towards squaddies in certain parts of Napa.
  3. Apparantly the ID was dodgy and the main witnesses gave conflicting accounts of the incident. Mind you the BBC still managed to infer they were guilty by mentioning past incidents regarding squaddies.

I bet they wouldn't do that with aqitted muslims? Just a thought?
